The
Environmental Protection Agency was the governmental agency responsible
for managing and overseeing radon programs in the U.S. from the earliest
days of the program until 1999.
Not only did
they co-ordinate training for radon professionals, they also developed
codes and protocols for radon testing and radon contractors.
The EPA has also developed
and dispersed most of the information that exists about radon soil gas,
